Oh and by the way halo3 has already hit a total 1,000,000 hrs of game play (making it the 1st in internet gaming history in just 240 hrs).

i had the same feeling when i couldn't beat emerald weapon (in ff7) i was this close to doing it but i pulled back.
honestly i have halo3 and i don,t let it get me this upset....this guy just shouldn't play any games at all with a bad sport like that.

they said back in 2005 that their not stupid to even try selling multiple models like what MS is doing (now look at this).
let me guess their is going to be another one with a 200 gig hard drive that can be upgraded(both ps3 and 360).
right now their are 3 models for 360 and 3 for ps3 why add a 4th?
so yeah get the 60 gig....for any one who still has ps2 games
and who wants more space then the 40 gig.
it mite not mean so much people but their are still people who want to keep their selection of ps2 games.
they decapitated the backwards compatibility( for both 40 gig and 80 gig)....you know thats over 2,000 games that where knocked off the list.
so now ps3 really dose have only 40 games out there right now.
If you were to get those ps3's right now it would be like starting over.
but i think MS will do it another way (by decapitating the core unit)
making 360 premium and elite possible to drop down in small increments.
But those kind of numbers are very bizarre it's like Sony already knows that there is a ff7 remake or a dragon quest in the works.
to early for any of those titles to be announced squarenix has to much right now to even think about it.
(developing for 4 consoles is allot of work for those guys).
so that means a halo every month for the ps3 (or something equivalent).
so that means 450,000 units per week.......very optimistic.
I'm not going to be sour about that.
Are high price parts, if you were bye them out right for your pc your looking at a lot of money.
ps3 production cost was $700 back in 2005. dropping it to 399 will be hurting them, for every 3 consoles they sell they lose 1.

Some of you might be confusing "FMVs" with "in game cinemas". 20hrs of cut scenes "done in real time" would put it right in line with what you'd expect out of a jRPG. Add to that the universal constant that is "leveling up" and you've got another 20-30hrs. And then world exploration, item hunting, character sub-plots, NPC/citizen dialog, and side quests all rake in the hours as well.
Yeah, all jRPGs gotta fit into this wierd formula. But ...
this is the reason why me and my friends say that Sony are paying to much attention to the rich and ms are for the hoods (people like me) and who are not to picky on how there setup looks.
and besids you can hook up 62 inch to a 360 and get HD as well throgh component, VGA, and HDMI.
